Current Construction Projects Related To Consent Order And Agreement (COA)
With Pennsylvania Department Of Environmental Protection (PaDEP):
Phase I: Pump Station, Headworks, and Screening Facility, and 7.0 Million Gallon Equalization Tank; Systems on-line on January 15, 2019
Phase II: Replacement and upsizing of the Brush Creek Interceptor to 48″, 42″, and 36″ reinforced concrete pipe; Project was completed in December 2019.
Phase III:
Replacement and upsizing of the Paintertown Interceptor to 18″ and 15″ PVC pipe
Replacement and upsizing of the Bushy Run Interceptor to 30″ PVC pipe
Replacement and upsizing of the Manor Interceptor to 18″ PVC pipe and elimination of the two (2) sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) regulators;
Phase III construction began in August 2021 and was completed in 2023.
The COA was terminated on October 27, 2023.

Rate History
- The Authority is funded through collection of sewer service charges, currently at $31.85 per month, per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU), or single residential household.
- For non-residential customers, one EDU is equivalent to a usage rate of 50,000 gallons of water per year.

- Capacity Tapping Fees: The Authority established a capacity tapping fee on October 20, 2005. The current capacity tapping fee is $1,500.00 per EDU.
