These are voluntary positions; no salary is collected by any board member.

CURRENT LOANS AND BOND ISSUES

·         PENNVEST Low Interest Loan: $2,160,940 for 2005 wet weather improvement projects associated with plant and interceptor upgrades

·         2010 Sewer Revenue Bonds Series A: $6,000,000

ü  Supplemental Funding for the Solids Processing and Plant Improvements Project

·         2010 Sewer Revenue Bonds Series B: $7,660,000

ü  Refinancing of the 2005 Sewer Revenue Bonds, resulting in $182,635 savings to be used for capital projects

RATE HISTORY

·         The Authority is funded through collection of sewer service charges, currently at $20.35 per month per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU) for the regular system.  One EDU is equivalent to a usage rate of 50,000 gallons of water per day.

·         On October 30, 2007, the Authority established a separate rate district for the Cavittsville-Ardara System.  The current rate for this district is $30.61 per month per EDU.
